About our anaesthesiology service
Before a planned procedure, the anaesthesia team reviews your history, medicines, allergies and investigations to choose the safest approach and to pick up problems in advance. During surgery, breathing, heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen levels are monitored continuously.
The same team runs the intensive care unit, available around the clock for patients who need close monitoring, oxygen or ventilatory support - whether they came through the OPD, the emergency or the operation theatre.
