About our urology service
Urinary symptoms are easy to put off and hard to live with - burning, going frequently at night, or pain that comes in waves. Most are diagnosed quickly with an examination, a urine test and an ultrasound, all available here.
Blood in the urine always needs assessment, even when it happens once and settles. Surgical treatment, where it is needed, is carried out in the hospital’s operation theatre with anaesthesia cover.
