About our orthopaedic surgery service
An injury can be examined and imaged in the same visit, because digital X-ray is in the building. Plaster or support is applied straight away where that is what is needed.
For surgery, the modular operation theatre has C-arm imaging - live guidance that is what allows fractures to be fixed and joints replaced accurately. Recovery is planned from the start, because it shapes the result as much as the operation does.
