Admission

Admission checklist

Bring these for a planned admission. In an emergency, come first and bring the documents later - treatment is never held up for paperwork.

  • Government photo ID of the patient (Aadhaar or similar)
  • Photo ID of the attendant
  • Doctor’s admission advice, if you have it
  • All previous prescriptions and reports
  • Current medicines in their original strips
  • Insurance or TPA card and policy number
  • Two changes of clothes and basic toiletries
  • One attendant who can stay with the patient

Leave jewellery and large amounts of cash at home. Please tell the admitting doctor about every medicine, allergy and past surgery - including anything from another hospital.

Your rights as a patient

  • Information. To be told your diagnosis, the proposed treatment and the expected cost, in language you understand.
  • Consent. To give informed consent before any procedure, and to refuse or withdraw it.
  • A second opinion. To seek one, and to be given your records to do so.
  • Your records. To receive your reports, discharge summary and an itemised bill.
  • Privacy and dignity. To be examined privately, with a chaperone if you wish, and to have your medical information kept confidential.
  • Emergency care. To be attended to in an emergency without a deposit being demanded first.
  • To be heard. To raise a concern or complaint and get a response.

Frequently asked questions

What are the OPD timings?

The OPD runs Monday to Saturday, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and again from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Emergency, inpatient and ICU services are open 24x7, including Sundays and holidays. On Sundays, please call before coming for an OPD consultation.

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-in patients are seen during OPD hours. Booking ahead - by phone, WhatsApp or the form on this website - usually means a shorter wait and confirms that the doctor you need is consulting that day. In an emergency, come straight in without booking.

Which doctor will see me?

Our front desk will direct you to the right specialty based on your complaint. Because OPD days vary by specialty, the most reliable way to check who is consulting on a particular day is to call the hospital.

What should I bring for an admission?

Bring a government photo ID (Aadhaar or similar), all previous prescriptions and reports, the medicines you are currently taking, your insurance or TPA card if you have one, and one attendant who can stay with the patient.

How do I pay?

Cash, debit card, credit card, UPI and net banking are all accepted. Ask at the billing counter for an itemised bill and keep it for insurance or reimbursement purposes.

Do you have an ICU and a NICU?

Yes. The hospital has an intensive care unit with round-the-clock cover, and a neonatal intensive care unit for newborns needing intensive support - so a patient who deteriorates can be moved within the hospital rather than referred elsewhere.

Is an ambulance available at night?

Yes. Ambulance service is available 24x7 on +91 72748 00800. Please keep the address and a reachable phone number ready when you call.

Can I get my tests and scans done here?

Yes. The laboratory, digital X-ray and ultrasound are inside the hospital, along with a pharmacy, so most patients complete consultation, investigation and medicines in one visit. C-arm imaging is used during surgery.
